Nichole Boseman Named New Wren High Principal

Robbie Binnicker to be ASD1's new Director of Secondary Education.

Anderson School District One is proud to announce administrative changes at the district office and Wren High School.

Anderson School District One and the School Board of Trustees have named Robbie Binnicker to be the new Director of Secondary Education for Anderson School District One. He has been serving as principal at Wren High for the past 11 years. 

Mr. Binnicker said, “I am very excited and honored to be given the opportunity to work at the district level in Anderson One.  I am very aware of the excellent reputation of the district and know first-hand the supportive environment that has been established. I look forward to working with the school and district leadership teams as well as district teachers.”

Mr. Binnicker has served Wren High School for many years.  He has 7 years classroom experience as a science teacher, 4 years as an assistant principal and also was an athletic coach for Wren High.  He holds a masters degree in Administration and Supervision from Clemson University.  His undergraduate work was also completed at Clemson University in Biological Science.

Superintendent, Dr. Wayne Fowler said, “Robbie Binnicker is an outstanding leader.  He was the 2012 South Carolina Secondary Principal of the Year.  Through his leadership, Wren High School was named Palmetto’s Finest High School in 2011.  The administration and school board believe that Mr. Binnicker will be an effective district level administrator.

He is married to Allyson Binnicker, who is a local realtor. He has three children attending the Wren area schools.

Mr. Binnicker is filling the position vacated by former Director of Secondary Education, Dr. John Pruitt, who recently retired.  Mr. Binnicker will assume his new duties at the district office on August 1, 2012.

Anderson School District One and the School Board of Trustees have also named Nichole Boseman to be the new principal of Wren High School. She has been serving as Assistant Principal/Director of Freshman Academy at Wren High for the past 2 years but has served Wren High for a total of 6 years in administration. 

Ms. Boseman said, ”Wren High School is an extraordinary place in which the students, faculty and staff, and the parents are truly Palmetto’s Finest. It is an honor to serve with a community of people who embrace learning daily and work tirelessly to help students reach success.  I look forward to a great year as we continue a longstanding tradition of excellence in which all students matter and are challenged to meet their highest potential.”

Mrs. Boseman has a total of 14 years classroom/administrative experience. She holds a masters degree in Administration and Supervision from Furman University.  Her undergraduate work was completed at Clemson University in 1997 in secondary education with an emphasis in English.

Superintendent, Dr. Wayne Fowler said, “Nichole Boseman has made an extremely positive impact already at Wren High School. The transition will be an easy one as she continues her leadership role at the school.  Mrs. Boseman has a passion for education and will ensure that Wren High continues the tradition of excellence.”

She is married to Stacy Boseman. They have 1 child, Nicholas Boseman, who is a second grader at Wren Elementary School.

Mrs. Boseman is filling the position vacated by former Wren High School Principal, Mr. Robbie Binnicker, who was hired as the new Director of Secondary Education for Anderson District One for 2012-13.  She will assume her new duties as Principal of Wren High on August 1, 2012.
