Deputy honored
Each year, the South Carolina Department of Public Safety recognizes officers that make a difference in enforcing impaired driving laws. This year’s award winner is Master Deputy Robert Porter of the Pickens County Sheriff's Office. Porter was awarded the SCDPS Bronze DUI Hero Lapel Pin. This is the second year in a row Porter has been recognized for is hard work in making our county roads safer.
