Concrete Primary Students Hold Presidential Elections

Students see their civics lessons in action during mock presidential election

Concrete Primary School put civics lessons in motion during their mock Presidential Election on Thursday, November 01, 2012.

Teachers prepared their students to vote by teaching them about the process of electing our President.

Students completed voter registration cards which they presented at Concrete’s Voting Precinct (the multi-purpose room) to one of the Poll Workers (parent volunteers).

They were then given a student ballot, stepped into a voting booth, and  marked their choice.

Finally, they placed their completed ballot in a ballot box and were presented with an “I Voted” sticker.
