Easley City Council Meets Tonight

Two project contracts on the agenda

Easley City Council meets tonight at 7pm in the courtroom of the Law Enforcement Center.

There are no presentations on the agenda for tonight, but council will vote on several resolutions.

Council will consider awarded a $145,000 contract to Ashmore Brothers, Inc for a project that will rework the lower drive and parking area at the J.B. “Red” Owens Recreation Complex.

Council will also vote on awarding a $34,000 contract to Brooks Brothers Landscaping for the SCB&T Partners in Pride program.

Finally, Mayor Larry Bagwell and City Council will declare the week of August 18-25 as Farmers Market Week in the City of Easley. Gov. Nikki Haley has declared August as Farmers Market Month in South Carolina.
