School Board Candidates Scheduled to Debate - TONIGHT

The Easley seat on the Pickens County School Board is up for grabs in November. Do you know the candidates? Learn about them tonight!

The purpose of this debate is twofold:
1. We at Pickens County Votes desire to bring the voting public closer to the process of selecting school board members and all elected officials. when the voters are fully informed, they make better, more intelligent decisions at the voting booth.
2. When the candidates have the opportunity to inform the public their stance on all the issues, they are able to make sure everyone understands how they will represent them in office.

The three candidates running for the Easley School board seat are:

Mrs. Judy Edwards (incumbent)
Dr. Valerie Ramsey
Mr. David Whittemore

This is YOUR chance to find out first hand what you want to know about YOUR School Board Trustees.  There will be an opportunity for audience members to ask the candidates questions, so if you have a concern, you want to be at the First Wesleyan Church.

The Church is located at 104 West 6th. Avenue, and starts at 6:30PM.  Get there early if you want the best seat.  The debate will also be webcast LIVE on the PCVotes website. www.pcvotes.com
