Monday

Tuesday

Easley City Council voted Monday night to approve a resolution to award a permitting and construction administration contract for the Couch Lane multi-use path project.

An Easley woman was the victim of what police are calling a strong armed robbery while she was in the women's restroom at Publix supermarket in Easley on Sunday.

Wednesday

On the heels of the first of three scheduled GOP debates in South Carolina, former Mass. Governor Mitt Romney has gained another endorsement from a S.C. politician.

Easley City Council unanimously approved a local ordinance that will effectively ban the sale, possession and manufacturing of the synthetic drugs known as bath salts and synthetic marijuana.

All eyes will be on Easley for another week next summer as the best young athletes from around the country and the world gather at J.B. "Red" Owens Recreational Complex for the Big League World Series.

Friday

The city is tightening its control over Easley's skateboarders and bike-riders after passing an updated version of an existing ordinance Monday night.
