Easley Business and Professional Women's Club Awards Scholarships

Three area students receive help from Easley BPW to further their educational goals.

The Easley Business and Professional Women's Club is very honored and proud to be able to present  a $500.00 Scholarship to each of the following: Heather Leonardo, Erica Roy and Joshua Kernells. Each applicant completed a brief biography outlining their education, extracurricular activities, awards, honors and service to the community. They were also graded on the transcripts from their schools.

Thousands of dollars in scholarships have been awarded through the years by Easley BPW to outstanding high school seniors or undergraduates who live or attend school in Pickens County. Beyond the local organization, the SC/BPW Foundation has given and continues to give at least $15,000 to $20,000 yearly to deserving men and women of South Carolina and on the national level, the BPW/USA Foundation awards thousands of dollars in scholarships as well.

The purpose of Easley BPW being organized in 1946 is to receive and disburse funds for educational purposes, to give scholarships and to conduct meetings that will elevate and promote the interest of business and professional women.
