World of Energy to Host 7th Annual National Hunting and Fishing Day Celebration

Celebration set for September 21

The World of Energy will host the seventh annual National Hunting and Fishing Day event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 21.  This free family adventure is open to the public and held on the grounds at the World of Energy.

Experts will teach both children and adults how to safely fire air rifles, bows and arrows, paddle kayaks, enjoy lake fishing and test their fly-tying skills, in addition to many other hands-on activities. “The Upstate has a wealth of recreational opportunities and the National Hunting and Fishing Day event is a great avenue for families to experience those activities from experts in a safe, fun atmosphere,” said BJ Gatten, manager of community relations at the World of Energy.

National Hunting and Fishing Day is made possible through the various sponsors including, Duke Energy, Upstate Forever, Trout Unlimited, Clemson University Extension Service, the S.C.
