Honoring their service

Visiting Marines from Camp LeJeune, N.C., and the Marine Corps Upstate Wounded Warrior Regiment passed by the Southern Wesleyan University campus along S.C. Highway 93 June 23, as part of a ride from Easley to Seneca. SWU faculty, staff, students and others lined the roadside waving flags and greeting the long patriotic parade, which featured hundreds of motorcycles and several jeeps decked out in red, white and blue. The event was organized to honor visiting Marines from Camp LeJeune, as well as a group from the Marine Corps Upstate Wounded Warrior Regiment.
