Walgreens, United Way Teaming Up for School Supply Drive

Donate school supplies at your local Walgreens from July 28th to August 24th, 2013. Just visit your local Walgreens to donate school supplies in-store. Find the Kids In Need Foundation collection box at the front of the store on your way out. All Pickens County Walgreens are participating in this drive; they are located in Clemson, Easley and Pickens.

The top items suggested for donation include crayons, glue sticks, markers, filler paper, pencils, pens, notebooks, folders and erasers.

100% of your donation goes to the Kids In Need Foundation and schools and students in need in Pickens County. Sponsored by Kids In Need Foundation. Collection support provided through the Walgreens Way to Well Commitment, and distribution to the local school systems will be delivered by United Way of Pickens County who has partnered with the School District of Pickens County’s “Family Liaisons” Social Workers to make sure the school supplies are distributed to the Pickens County schools and students that are most in need. Please help us make sure all children have the tools necessary to be successful in school.
