State of the Air Campaign Results Released
Report shows Charleston and Colleton counties have cleanest air in the state.
The American Lung Association has released its annual State of the Air Report. The Lowcountry is breathing easy. Charleston and Colleton counties have the cleanest air in the state. Both were given an A. Most Upstate counties received a passing grade. Pickens County received a D, while neighboring Greenville earned a B. Anderson, Abbeville, Cherokee and Oconee counties earned a C. Richland and Spartanburg counties were the only two to receive a failing grade. Both received an F. No data was collected in Lexington County. Find data from around the state.
