The State Ethics Commission has opened a public inquiry into Gov. Nikki Haley's campaign finances, according to a story reported by the Associated Press. A hearing is set for July 18. AP reports the complaint accuses Haley of failing to maintain proper records of donors' occupations and didn't disclose the addresses of six contributors. Patch contacted Haley's spokesman at the Governor's Office, but was referred to the Haley for Governor campaign office. This afternoon, Marisa Joye Crawford from the Haley for Governor campaign released the following statement: "Of the more than 7,000 donors to the campaign, we were unable to find the addresses for two of them, donations totaling $326.78.
