Large crowd turned out for Fox Carolina's "block party, street festival and pep rally" this morning at J.B. "Red" Owens Complex.
Easley got to show its stuff on television this morning, as Fox Carolina brought its "Celebrating the Carolinas" party to the J.B. "Red" Owens Complex. Hosts Cody Alcorn and Joe Gagnon interviewed many city officials and other notables, including the coaches of the SC District 1 Team, which is ready for the Big League Baseball World Series. The team helped Alcorn and Gagnon as they faced off in a home run contest. Many aspects of the city had the spotlight shown on them, from the Fine Arts Center of Easley to area car dealers to the students of Tri-County Technical College's Easley Campus.
