Police Investigation Nets 26 Drug Arrests
A joint investigation between Easley Police and the Pickens County Sheriff was conducted over the last eight months.
A joint investigation by Easley Police and the Pickens County Sheriff's Office into distribution and possession of methamphetamines, marijuana, and controlled substances in the county has resulted in the arrests of 26 individuals. The eight-month investigation was conducted using undercover officers and surveilance operations, according to a statement from the Pickens County Sheriff's Office. "Drug investigations are one of the most difficult and time consuming cases to work to acquire enough evidence for a later conviction in court," Pickens County Sheriff C. David Stone said.
