Students enrolled at McKissick Elementary School in Easley will be better equipped for successful learning, thanks to a $750 donation from Southern Wesleyan University in collaboration with a local business. Bowers Office Supply of Easley, Southern Wesleyan’s adoption partner, contributed $250 in supplies to McKissick Elementary. An Upstate educator has been named principal to the elementary school where he began his teaching career. The School District of Pickens County has named Dr. Del Freitag as the new principal at McKissick Elementary School in Easley. Freitag will succeed Stephanie Price, who is retiring at the end of June. “Dr. Freitag is a positive leader who has a heart for all children," said Superintendent Dr. Henry Hunt.
