I agree with the previous post "Bleu Voodoo is amazing". Visited tonight and everything was great. Service and food was terrific!!! We had Fried oysters, french quarter fries, orleans pasta, shrimp, and turtle cheescake. I used to work in food service. Bleu Voodoo serves very high quality food. Bleu Voodoo is amazing! We enjoy the food, the atmosphere, the company. Dave is doing a great job. We've had the gator bites, cajun popcorn, the banana's foster ice cream pie; just to mention a few. Excellent!! Recently started having music and have featured some top entertainment from our area. Check them out!
Had dinner at Bleu VooDoo on Saturday night. The food was fantastic — I recommend the Gumbo and the French Quarter Nachos! Server was spot on. And The Dockside Band made this outing a lot of fun.
We have eaten here several times and had the hamburgers each time. The service is great, the food servings are more than adequate, the atmosphere is casual and it is not at all what you might expect from the outside looks of it. It stays really busy, but the down side is the lack of days that they are open. If it weren't for that, I would have given it 5 stars.

I was really hoping to make this my new place on Saturday nights, but it was a complete disappointment. When we walked in it was about half empty and the hostess area was abandoned. After 10 minutes, one of the waitresses pointed at a table.
We ordered the fried mushrooms as an appetizer and some drinks. Almost ten minutes later the drinks came and we placed dinner orders and ordered a couple of more drinks. This is where the train wreck started. The appetizer was delivered, then 2 or 3 minutes later the salads were brought out and as the salads where being sat down the entrees were headed our way. The salads were good, but they come with a side of dressing and my wife was able to spill half of it on her while uncapping it. Why couldn’t they bother to uncap their dressings before bring out the salads is beyond me.
The mushroom appetizer and entrees were frozen Costco products. Their Crawfish Etoufee was flavorless, except for the over powering taste of raw onion. The center piece of the dish was a pile of rice that had been packed into a ramekin and dumped out. My wife had the Catfish with their “hand cut” prepackaged frozen fries.
I was surprised to see Christmas decorations and even more intrigued by the New Years Eve drink menu at the table; considering I was there on Jan 26. The unisex bathroom had several warning signs to be sure to lock the door. Unfortunately the guy who was in the bathroom when my wife walked in hadn’t read the signs.
