Easley's Tip Top Cake Shop is offering a unique camp for children this summer.
The camp will be held 11am – 1pm July 31 to August 3rd, according to Kendall Pomeroy with Tip Top Cake Shop.
“We're asking for kids around the age of 7 to 12,” Pomeroy said.
Each day, campers will decorate a cake or cupcake. They will also bake cookies each day, she said.
“It's all baking related,” Pomeroy said.
The camp will also include games and snacks, she said.
She asks that campers bring their own lunches Tuesday-Thursday the week of camp.
“On Friday, we're having a pizza party and a cupcake graduation,” Pomeroy said. “The kids will get a little diploma.”
On Thursday, campers will take part in a “huge” mystery game that will involve the Tip Top Cake Shop's neighbors.
“Everybody in the shopping center is involved in it,” Pomeroy said.
The camp costs $12 per child per day or you can sign your child up for the whole week for $45, Pomeroy said.

Pomeroy asks that registrations be in by July 28.
The idea for the summer camp grew out of the birthday parties the shop offers.
“The birthday parties have been a huge hit,” she said. “For children under 8, they get to decorate a jumbo cupcake. Children 9 and up, we have them decorate a cake. It's been a blast. We've had close to 40 kids in our little shop decorating. They go crazy decorating.”
Children often ask if they can tour the Tip Top Cake Shop.
“I just got to thinking how great it would be if we had something for the kids to do this summer,” she said.“It's really something they can get involved in.”
The Tip Top Cake Shop is located at 838 Powdersville Road, Suite I.
