Southern Wesleyan University approved for NCAA membership
University to join Conference Carolinas, continue to next step toward Division II membership
Southern Wesleyan University can start the process towards NCAA Division II membership and join Conference Carolinas, approved by the NCAA on Sept. 17.
The university plans a press conference at 3 p.m. Sept. 23, where university officials will provide a detailed update on the process moving forward.
Southern Wesleyan sponsors 15 intercollegiate varsity athletic programs that will make the transition to the NCAA Division II level.
