Golf Tournament Benefits Big League World Series

Tourney to be held September 21 at Smithfields Country Club

Teams from around the world are still dusting off the baseline chalk from their cleats after the 2013 Big League World Series, but planning is already underway for next year's event.

An upcoming golf tournament will benefit the Big League Baseball World Series.

The Big League Baseball World Series Golf Tournament will be held Smithfield's Country Club on Saturday, September 21.

Entry fees are $425 per team or $120 per individual. Fees include all mulligans and red tees.

The Captain's Choice tournament will have a 2pm shotgun start.

A number of sponsorship opportunities are available.

At the $1,500 Hole in One level, sponsors receive two teams in the tournament, two hole sponsorships, business name on all marketing material and an opportunity to speak before the tournament.

At the $1,000 Eagle level, sponsors receive one team in the tournament, one hole sponsorship and business name on all marketing material.

At the $750 Birdie level, sponsors receive one hole sponsorship and business name on all marketing material.

$100 hole sponsorships are also available.

All proceeds from the golf tourney will benefit the Big League World Series.
