Clemson Fans Can Help University Win Scholarship Funds

Tiger fans can vote once each day through Thursday night in College Colors Day competition.

Clemson fans have a chance to help Clemson University win $10,000 in scholarship funds.

Clemson University is participating in the second annual College Colors Day spirit competition and is asking for fan support to help win the national Spirit Cup award, which includes $10,000 toward the general scholarship fund. 

Tiger fans can register to vote for Clemson as the school with the most college spirit and loyal fan base by visiting Facebook.com/CollegeColorsDay.

The Facebook-based rivalry competition, which includes more than 160 participating colleges and universities and is an element of this year's 2013 College Colors Day celebration, kicks off Monday, August 12 and runs through 11:59 PM EST on Thursday, August 29.  Fans can vote once each day and can check who is winning the competition nationally and within each conference. The winner will be announced on College Colors Day on Friday, August 30.

Clemson fans, no matter where they are, are encouraged to wear orange and purple on College Colors Day Friday.

College Colors Day, which is organized by the Collegiate Licensing Company, LLC (CLC), an affiliate of IMG College, celebrates the kick-off of the college football season and promotes higher education - celebrating the achievements of colleges and universities by putting the spirit and traditions of the college experience at the center of national attention.
