Big League World Series Volunteers Needed
Come out to the Red Owens Recreation Complex Sunday to learn more about volunteering for this year's series.
The Big League World Series kicks off later this month and volunteers are needed to help make this year's Series another big win for Easley.
Big League World Series officials will be hold a volunteer signup event Sunday, July 7 from 2pm - 4pm at the J.B. "Red" Owens Recreation Complex.
The event will be held at the Field 1 & 3 scoring tower, according to BLWS spokesman Alan Schaff.
"During this time, we will have tournament organizers there that can discuss the various ways that people can help out," he said. "The success of the tournament in Easley is a direct result of the countless hours of work by those that the live in the community and volunteer their time. This is a perfect time for those that want to help but just don’t know what needs to be done or who to contact."
