Golf Tournament to Support Scholarship Fund at Southern Wesleyan University

Golf, food, prizes, fellowship and fun – all while supporting a great cause.

The annual Southern Wesleyan University P.B. Wood Golf Tournament will be teeing off Oct. 14 at Pickens Country Club.

The tournament raises money for the Promise Fund, which supports student scholarships as well as academic and student programs. This event is named in honor of Dr. Paul Baker Wood, a noted psychologist and Southern Wesleyan University professor emeritus.

This captain’s choice tournament has slots for 36 four-man teams. The spaces go fast, so please sign up by Oct. 5 if you wish to participate. The fee is $400 for a team of four or $100 per player. Individual players are welcome to sign up and will be placed with a team. This fee covers greens fees, cart fees, meals, a polo shirt (or other gift) and other prizes.
