Anderson School District One’s 34th Annual Retirement Luncheon was held on May 17, 2013 at Saluda River Grill in Piedmont, SC. Retirees were honored and recognized for their years of dedicated service in Anderson One. Dr. Wayne Fowler, retiring Superintendent, presented each person a plaque listing their total number of years.
Dr. Fowler was also presented with his retirement plaque by Fred Alexander, Anderson School District One Board of Trustees Chairman. 21 retirees have served the district for a combined service of 404 years of service to the students of Anderson School District One.
David Havird, Superintendent-Elect said, “These retirees have exemplified the dedication and commitment that has helped provide the best education possible for our students. Anderson School District One's tradition of excellence in education is due to the dedication of each of our employees,” He went on to say, “Congratulations for a very happy and healthy retirement.”Retirees attending luncheon:
