Mortgage Assistance Workshop is Sept. 18

Attendees will hear from an attorney and housing counselors on steps they can take to save their homes.

A Mortgage Assistance Workshop will be held 6pm Tuesday, Sept. 18 at Clemson Community Care, located at 105 Anderson Highway in Clemson.

The workshop is sponsored by SC Home Ownership and Employment Lending, Clemson Community Care, United Way of Pickens County and the Upstate Homeless Coalition.

Attendees will hear from a SC Legal Services Attorney and Certified Housing Counselors about steps they can take to save their home.

Families should bring basic household budget information and copies of recent communications from lenders with them to the workshop.
