A Former Bachmann Adviser, Four Business Leaders Supporting Romney

Former Massachusetts governor is continuing to add to his list of supporters.

On Thursday, Mitt Romney continued to add more supporters from the business community.

The list of supporters adds the names of a former Bachmann adviser, Ron Thomas, and four businesses to the list of growing supporters in South Carolina leadership.

“I’m very proud to earn the support of even more conservative leaders here in the Palmetto state,” Romney said. “They realize that we need to replace the President with someone who knows how to grow the economy. I look forward to working with them to create jobs for South Carolinians and people all across the country.”

O.L. Thompson, CEO of O.L. Thompson Construction Company, said he was happy to endorse Romney.

"We need a president who not only shares our conservative principles, but also is committed to putting them into action," Thompson said. "Mitt Romney has shown he has the temperament and judgment to lead effectively. Whether it was his time in business, saving the Winter Olympics, or steering Massachusetts out of a massive budget deficit, he has shown he has what it takes to get our nation back on track. I call on all conservatives who want to defeat President Obama and replace him with a proven leader to join me in supporting Mitt Romney.”
