UPDATE: Identity of Teen Driver Killed in Fatal Crash in Pickens County Monday Night

Troopers are still investigating the wreck on Highway 183 near Old Dacusville Road.

The Pickens County Coroner's Office has identified the teen driver as Kevin Daryl McNab of Easley.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Pickens County.

Troopers said a 15-year-old was killed in a one-vehicle crash around 11:40 p.m. Monday on S.C. Highway 183 near Old Dacusville Road, almost three miles north of Easley.

Troopers said the driver was headed south on Highway 183 when he traveled off the left side of the roadway striking a utility pole. The vehicle overturned and the driver was ejected from the vehicle. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the highway patrol.

The wreck is under investigation.

The driver's name has not been released at this time.
