Alan Kyle Canady, 30, of Easley, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, October 4, 2013.
Born in Greenville, he was the son of Jerry Alan Canady and Jean Anderson Dickson. Kyle was employed with Jolley Towing. He was an owner at NewSpring Church in Greenville, where he served as usher and on the Next Steps Team. Kyle and his mother rededicated their lives to Christ and were baptized together two years ago.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his brother, Clifton T. Canady; the love of his life, Emily Goodwin, and her precious daughter, Lilly Kate; his step-mother, Kim Canady; step-father, Michael Dickson; step-sisters, Jaclyn James and Erin James and her daughter Bella; step-brother, Austin James; and lifelong friend and employer, Robert Reeves and his wife Jennifer and their beloved children, Karington, Kassidy, and Jackson. Along with his brother, who was his personal hero, Kyle had many dear friends and extended family.
Kyle was preceded in death by his grandparents, Horace and Virginia Canady and George and Thelma Anderson.
You are invited to a celebration of his life, which will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. Entombment to follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
