The Leadership Pickens County program orientation will be held today starting at 12 p.m. The purpose of the program is to equip current and future county leaders and members of the business community with necessary leadership skills and knowledge and to encourage them to participate in decision making processes. The Easley Rotary Club will hold its regular weekly meeting today at 12:30 p.m. The club is open to members only and meetings are held at West End Hall.

Gettys Middle School is hosting a Meet the Teacher event today for the parents of sixth grade students. Stop by the school from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. for an opportunity to meet the teachers and staff for the 2011-2012 school year.
