The musical consists of various styles of music all centered on the theme of water and the life-giving change Christ can make in a person’s life. The drama that accompanies the music is based upon African stories.

His Love Flowing provides a look inside the lives of people who don't have access to clean drinking water. Women and children in Asia and Africa walk 2-8 miles twice a day to get water from unclean puddles and rivers. The water is dirty and filled with disease. The labor and time involved in fetching the water keeps women and children out of school – and thus illiterate. His Love Flowing follows a trio of desperate people who are on a quest to find clean water and save their village. They journey despite disease, pollution, war, and drought. Then they meet a man who "tells stories by the river and offers living water to the thirsty." What will happen to their village when they encounter the Person of the River?!

The youth choir has raised about $1,500 toward its goal of $4,000.
