"The Crucible" runs Oct. 17 to 27, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Thursday's performance also is at 8 p.m.

Next up this season Easley Foothills Playhouse presents Arthur Miller’s well-crafted drama, “The Crucible.”

This play about the Puritan purge of “witchcraft” in old Salem is both a gripping historical play and a timely parable of our contemporary society. In fact, this year marks the 60th anniversary of this tony-awarding play. Directed by Anna DeVault, “The Crucible” runs Oct. 17 to 27, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Thursday’s performance also is at 8 p.m.

Adult tickets are $14, seniors and students $12 and children 12 and under, $7. With season memberships you get six tickets for less than the price of five tickets. Or you can come to the theatre at 201 S. 5th Street with cash in hand 15 minutes before the show and get special seating in the mezzanine area of the theatre for just $10 per ticket.

For more information on all these types of tickets or to reserve seats, call the theatre at 864-855-1817; email the theatre at foothillsplayhouse@att.net; visit the website at www.easleyfoothillsplayhouse.com or purchase tickets online at showtix4u.com.
