DESCRIPTION:The stones starring in this unique event are not &ldquo\;roll
 ing&rdquo\; &mdash\; most have been sturdily in place for millions of ye
 ars\, while sometime\, millennia ago\, mystery-artists carved images\, m
 aybe messages\, on them.\nOn Sunday\, April 15 at 3pm at the Hampton Mem
 orial Library in Easley\, Dennis Chastain\, a writer and naturalist\, al
 ong with Tommy Charles\, an eminent archaeologist\, will share their pic
 tures and adventures in pursuit of the petroglyph\, ancient stone art th
 at is a celebrated feature of bald rock faces in upper Pickens County.\n
 In keeping with the antiquity of the period\, Pat Edmunds of Pickens wil
 l be playing Native American flute music to set the tone for this &ldquo
 \;rock show&rdquo\;.\nTommy Charles is author of &ldquo\;Discovering Sou
 th Carolina&rsquo\;s Rock Art&rdquo\;\, a book on petroglyphs of this re
 gion.&nbsp\; He will be signing books\, so bring your copy or purchase a
