The Dockside Band performed for the Pickens County Cancer Association Pig Pickin' fundraiser on April 14th, 2012

This last weekend, The Dockside Band, also known as "TDB" or just "Dockside", played a great benefit event at the beautiful and recently renovated Easley Amphitheater.

The event was the Pickens County Cancer Association's Pig Pickin' BBQ fundraiser and had BBQ cookers competing from all over the state.

TDB performed cover tunes from the 60s to current, country to rock to beach (Carolina Beach, is there any other kind?), and a number of original tunes, including our beach flavored "Carolina Baby".

The crowd was light on the absolutely gorgeous day, possibly because the other events taking place like the mud run and a bike event that had over 750 bikes involved.

Still, a great time was had.  The two other bands that were there, The Bottom Line Band, and $2 Pistol also did a great job of entertaining the attendees.
