The Southern boys of summer took to the field Saturday night at Easley's J.B. "Red" Owens Complex.

Host team, South Carolina District 1 met Florida District 12 for a battle of the southeast.

After three innings, South Carolina lead, 2-0. 

Florida, representing the Southeast, tied the game 2-2 in the bottom of the 6th. 

But a two-run homer from Will Hartsell gave SC District 1 the lead at the top of the seventh and Florida was unable to catch up.
