Hopkins To Lead Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce
Kent Dykes announced his retirement from the Chamber last month. His last day is June 29.
The Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce has named Cindy Hopkins as president.
Hopkins will begin at the end of June, according to an article in the Independent-Mail.
Hopkins currently serves as the executive vice president of the County Chamber of Commerce. Her last day will be June 15 in Anderson.
Easley Chamber President Kent Dykes announced in May that he would retire on June 29.
Dykes joined the Easley Chamber in 2003, after retiring from Milliken. Dykes started work as the membership director, helping to expand the chambers members by more than 135 members. In 2004, he was named president and membership has seen steady increases throughout his leadership.
A retirement luncheon is planned for Dykes on June 21. To reserve a spot, call the Easley Chamber of Commerce.
