Delta Airlines will add an additional flight to New York City's LaGuardia Airport from Greenville-Spartanburg International, the airline announced Wednesday.

"We see Greenville as a key business market with the demand that can support two daily flights to New York," Delta Air Lines said in a statement to FOX Carolina News.

The airline currently offers a morning flight. The new flight departs in the afternoon.

The new flight brings the total number of Delta flights from GSP to 17. The airline has flights to Atlanta, Cincinnati, Detroit and LaGuardia.
