Gov. Haley Grades Pickens County Representatives

Pickens County representatives earned straight "A's" on Gov. Haley's Report Card.

Pickens County representatives earned straight "A's" on Gov. Nikki Haley's 2011 Legislative Report Card for the S.C. General Assembly.

Haley graded the state's representatives on their voting record and the only way to get an "A" on this test was to vote in line with the leader, most of the time.

If a representative voted in favor of 4 or more bills they received an A, 3=B, 2=C, 1=D, and 0=F.

State Senator Larry Martin voted in favor all but one legislative bill that supports at least 51% of the governors vetoes in the state budget and Capital Reserve Bill.

Rep. Erik Bicas, Rep. Davy Hiott, Rep. B.R. Skelton each voted in favor of 8 of 9 legislative items and also earned "A's" on Haley's scorecard. All Pickens County House members voted in line with Sen. Martin on the Governor's Budget Vetoes Sustained bill and voted against it.
