Former Clemson University Employee Arrested
Easley man charged with breach of trust following investigation of fraternity and sorority accounts.
A former Clemson University Associate Director for Fraternity and Sorority Life was arrested today.
Eli A. Ker, 29, of 107 Ledgewood Way, Easley, is charged with breach of trust with fraudulent intent, $10,000 or more.
According to a Clemson University Police Department warrant, Ker was entrusted with funds from the University's Panhellenic Recruitment Account.
The warrant alleges that Ker converted $33,820 from that account for his personal use.
He allegedly created false bank statements, the warrant states.
The crime is alleged to have occurred between August 29, 2011 and August 29, 2012.
Ker was booked at the Clemson Police Department.
The arrest is the result of a joint investigation between the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and the Clemson University Police Department.
The Thirteenth Circuit Solicitor's Office will prosecute the case.

Kathryn, I can understand your concerns. Clemson University has much to be proud of with the recent ranking it received. It is, however, our job to report both the good and the bad.
