Forestry Meeting For Small Woodlot Owners July 28
Meeting in Clemson will focus on timber harvesting for small private landowners. RSVP by Thursday, July 26.
Anderson, Greenville, Oconee, and Pickens County Extension offices will offer a multi-county Forestry Meeting on Saturday July 28th from 9 to 4pm.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held at the Hayden Conference Center in the Botanical Gardens on the Clemson University Campus.
The meeting will focus on timber harvesting for small private landowners. Topics covered will include working with Forestry resource professionals, a Mill owner’s perspective, Invasive Exotic plants, Timber taxes, the Tree Farm program, and Best Management Practices as they pertain to water quality and logging. Lunch will be included. Price is $25 per person and $35 per couple.
Parking will be available in front of the Hayden Conference Center, 102 Garden Trail Rd. or at the adjacent Hanover building off Garden Trail road.
