First Gospel Singing Draws Top Acts
The fundraiser for the Upstate Kidney Walk 2012 was sponsored by Bowers Family Charities.
About 150 people gathered inside the auditorium at Gettys Middle School for some toe-tapping, hand-clapping gospel singing.
Featuring popular gospel groups The Carolina Boys Quartet, Sisters and Beyond the Ashes, the singing was a fundraiser for the 2012 Upstate Kidney Walk.
Organizer Randy Bowers of Bowers Family Charities said he hopes to have another event in the fall.
