Easley Videographer Captures Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day
Alvin Smith visited Chick-Fil-A of Easley. He found many residents standing in line, but very willing to wait.
A local videographer spotted a line of cars outside Easley's Chick-Fil-A and stopped to find out why so many were standing in line.
The attached video by Alvin Smith of A.R. Smith & Company was filmed Wednesday night at of Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day in Easley.
Former Ark. Gov. Mike Huckabee called for a "Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day" on Aug. 1, after the company came under fire due to comments from company President Dan Cathy.
Cathy told the Baptist Press that the company was "guilty as charged" in its support of traditional marriage. Cathy later visited a radio program and spoke further regarding the gay marriage movement.
A "National Same-Sex Kiss Day at Chick-fil-A" event is planned for Aug. 3.
