Easley's Pankake One of Top Hitters for USC Tuesday Night

Joey Pankake went 5-for-6 with a pair of RBIs and Evan Marzilli added four hits including a three-run homer as sixth ranked South Carolina snapped a three-game losing streak with an 8-5 win over Furman on Tuesday night at Fluor Field in Greenville.
The game would mark head coach Ray Tanner’s 1,100th career win in his 25th year as a head coach in Division I baseball.
Pankake would also become the the first Gamecock since Christian Walker on April 5, 2011 vs. USC Upstate to record five hits in a single game.
