Corey Jameson, a senior at Coastal Carolina, beat the school's 100-meter-dash record to finish second in the event.
Jameson clocked a blazing 10.54 to beating the 2007 record set by Aubrey Lemon at 10.55.
Jameson is a graduate of Easley High School. He is the son of Charlene Jameson.
