Collins to Represent Easley High in All-Star Game

Collins will play for the 2012 All-Star team in North Myrtle Beach in March.

A great season just got even better for Easley High School senior Spencer Collins when he was selected to represent his team in this year's All-Star game.

Collins is one of fifteen basketball standouts selected to play in the South Carolina Coaches Association North/South All-Star Classic in March.

In January, the 18-year-old shooting guard topped 1,500 career points, a remarkable accomplishment for any high school athlete. Collins and his teammates finished in second place during the regular season.

On Wednesday the Easley Green Wave team will host the first playoff game against Byrnes High School at 7 p.m.

The North/South All-Star Classic will be played on March 17 at North Myrtle Beach High School.
