Mr. Bruce Travis Camp, 39, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012 in Charleston.
Born in Orangeburg, a son of Bruce Terrell and Shelby Jean Rooker Camp, Mr. Camp was a sales represetative with Dillards and a member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church. Travis' roots were with Rock Springs Bapist Church where he was raised for many years. He had a great passion for teaching, writing poetry, photography and acting.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are many special aunts and uncles, as well as many special friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2012 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from Noon until 1:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the home of his parents, 103 Freeman Road, Easley, SC 29640.

Travis was a very special man. He had a heart of gold. And that smile always made my night or day better. I will always remember him for his kind words. Miss him so much but I know he's in a better place. Love you bro..RIP :'-(

Brent,
I was in a production of "Taming of the Shrew" with Travis a few years back. Loved my scenes with Travis. Wish I'd known him better, but he was a sweet and funny guy, always cracked me up.
