Breaking News: Pickens Bank Robbed, Suspects In Custody After Chase
Suspects captured soon after robbery.
At 4:45 p.m. Monday afternoon, suspects robbed the Bank of America in Pickens.
At 7 p.m. Monday evening Pickens Police Chief Rodney Gregory told Pickens City Council that the suspects were in custody and the stolen money had been recovered.
Gregory said the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office became involved in a chase with the suspects shortly after the robbery was reported. Easley police joined in the chase.
The suspects’ vehicle was reported stolen out of Greenville.
Gregory said the suspects were being questioned Monday evening and more details would be forthcoming.

How dumb can u be to rob a bank downtown pickens of all places street over from the court house and pickens police department.
