Readers' Choice: Coffee Shops

Tell us where you find the best cup of coffee in town.

When it comes to that early morning perk you can only get from a delicious cup of coffee, most of us don't want to take any chances.

In our third "Best Of" contest, we are asking our readers to tell us where to find the best cup of coffee in Easley.

Here are some of our favorite places, but if we're leaving one off of the list, please let us know in the comments and we'll add it:

Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments in the section below. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

So tell us where you go for that perfect cup. And don't forget to tell us in the comments below why.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch website.

Moe Joe is by far the best coffee shop in the upstate!! It blows all of these other places out of the water in every way. The few times that i have been to Coyote Coffee I've been rushed in and out and ended up with a cold cup of "hot" coffee. The service and quality of Moe Joe is impeccable.

I guess the same can be said for Moe Joes. Why have this if it is going to be the same as the "Best of the Upstate" voting. If you don't track IPs then it will just be who clicks on the submit button enough times. I say try both places and choose for yourself.

Easley would not be the same without Moe Joe Coffee. It is conveniently located on Hwy 123 so it is super easy and quick to get in and out of. The baristas are amazing, polite, and FAST. They have learned to multitask way better than the competitors, making my trip super fast and amazing. The drinks are also top notch, with ORIGINAL recipes that were created before the competitors even dreamt of coffee. Originality never stops with Moe Joe Coffee, new items are always being added and menu expanding to serve my breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack needs! Pricing is very inexpensive considering the quality ingredients (my normal drink is cheaper than the cheapo McDonald's frappe). So, to sum it up... Moe Joe Coffee in Easley has all the qualities that would describe the BEST COFFEE SHOP in Easley, and will continue to for many years to come!

Coyote Coffee to me is by far the best place for the overall experience. Its a fun and low key place to meet customers and clients. Wrote many contracts with clients while they are drinking the coffee of there choice. My daughter and I also love coming to Coyote for our daddy daughter time. The girls are happy and greet you with a smile. Most of the time they know what we want before I order. Wonderful small hometown place to start the day!

WOW! I didn't know we had some many coffee drinkers in Easley. I have had coffee at all three places recently. To be honest, they all had great tasting coffee. However, I felt the Starving Artist had a more comfortable atmosphere to relax in. The staff was great. They provided great service, but were also courtious enough to let me relax and not push me out the door when I was done. I will be coming back to teh Starving Artist again and again for a long time. Great place to just chill out, especially on Thursday and Friday nights.

Your right. You should just vote and not bash, but it has gotten WAY out of control. It nice to see at least we are all voting for locally owned establishments and not the big chains. At least we know everyone is passionate about there favorite coffee shop. :)

I always get my employees coffee from The Starving Artist. With a workplace of close to 80 employees you would think I would go broke, but they always make sure the prices are reasonable for the amount that I purchase. Vicki always makes sure that I am well taken care off and even has had some of her staff deliver more when we needed it. She even lets me borrow the airpots to take with me since I travel a good distance to work everyday. It makes tarnsporting the coffee much easier. I am always astouded at the dedication she and her staff has given us every time I stop by. Its not just the coffee that makes The Starving Artist Cafe, it is the attention the the little details that the staff provides everyday that truly makes the place great.

Coyote Coffee's is my Pick the atmosphere is great, my favorite is sugar free White Coyote & the people their are amazing! I have been to several other the other coffee places and do not feel that the attention is the same, nor the quality. Also, coyote Coffee has also helped support our schools with several benefits or providing coffee for our Teachers & Staff.

I can not speak of the other shops cause Moe Joe has had my business since they opened a long time ago. The location is perfect for my morning drive to work. Amanda, Ashley, and Shannon know my drink and have it waiting. Always good drinks, always friendly, and very very fast. No matter how big the line is i get in and out quick and on my way. The employees treat me like family and always go the extra mile. My White Tiger is always spot on, and I am a loyal customer.

Objectively, I can honestly say I've had commendable experiences at all three popular coffee shops in Easley. One however, stands out as special and that is Coyote Coffee. The incredibly comfortable atmosphere and amazing staff aside, Coyote Coffee does something that sets them apart; they represent our great community well. The coyote continues to actively support such great causes as cancer awareness and prevention, as well as the volunteer rescue squad. Such selfless giving is quite rare today, yet deserves high praise. So for a great cup of coffee as well as a sense of community and family the Coyote stands alone!

Coyote Coffee has the best coffee. Others taste a little bitter or edgy in my opionion. Our company held weekly sales meetings and provided coffee at another local coffee establishment. I always left the house early, drove 10 minutes out of the way just to get me some Coyote to take with me to the other shop. It just taste better at the Coyote! Owwwlllllll....that's my best coyote sound :)
