Dozens of students ages 7 to 17 showed up to audition for the Young Actor's Company of Easley on Tuesday night at The Fine Arts Center of Easley.

Auditions consisted of a “cold-read” from a script, meaning the actors were asked to read sections of the script with fellow actors.

YACE will perform A Little Princess, an adaptation of the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, for its first production in July.

Each member of YACE pays a monthly membership fee of $30 and will meet once a week to rehearse their productions and participate in brief lessons on acting, theatre appreciation, improvisation, vocal techniques and physicality.

For additional information, please call the Fine Arts Center of Easley at 864.442.6027, or email Steve Schultz at steve@fineartscenterofeasley.com.
